Have your own personal address yet?

When? Oh when will you listen?I admit it's still ahead of the wave, but the benefits of just owning your own personal web address are worth jumping ahead of everyone. Even if you don't use if for a few years. At least someone else won't have YOUR address.huh? I know, deaf ears. But remember this, in 2010, as the stupid news channels and magazines start yapping about the next big thing - Your Own Personal Web Address and Identity! Remember that I had been telling you this since the turn of the Century. Read more about having your own domain name at www.GetMyFamilyName.com (http://www.getmyfamilyname.com) .And remember, in 2011, when you can no longer get the name you want... I told you so.

Lots of Updates

I'm doing a lot of updates recently. Not on this site. No, I have been updating web servers with the latest software and security patches. And then patching all the programs that 'break' after the system is updated. Think of how some Windows updates mess up some of your other programs. Of course, this may lead some of you to not install those Windows Updates, but that's just foolish. The security holes they patch are more important than a few crappy programs going buggy for a few weeks.Anyway.... back to the updates.
